BioTek Epoch Microplate Spectrophotometer
Epoch microplate spectrophotometer has monochromator-based optics, enabling a filter-free, wide wavelength range for UV-Vis absorbance measurements. These measurements can be done in many microplate formats and in 2 µL samples when the available Take3 microvolume plate is used.
Epoch is controlled by Gen6 Data Analysis Software, with simple programming and powerful data analysis. This robust, low-maintenance microplate absorbance reader is a cost-effective system. Reliability and ease of use ensure time savings in laboratory workflows.
Features
- Cost-effective monochromator-based absorbance offers excellent performance and value, with filter-free, high-quality optics and robust hardware
- Compatible with 6- to 384-well microplates
- Wavelengths from 200 to 999 nm for UV-Vis applications enable fast nucleic acid and protein quantification in microplates. Qualitative and quantitative colorimetric assays and preprogrammed protocols in Gen6 software enable high-quality results
- Compatible with the Agilent BioTek Take3 microvolume plates to measure up to 48 2 µL samples at a time for direct DNA, RNA, and protein quantification, without additional instrumentation
- Endpoint, kinetic, and spectral scan read modes for absorbance measurements
- Bring further efficiency to your workflow with a robot-friendly configuration of Epoch. Epoch integrates with the Agilent BioTek BioStack microplate stacker for automated reading and processing of 10, 30 or 50 microplates.
